The ninth-day of the 2018 FIFA World Cup gave us lots of goal and lots of drama. First, we saw how Belgium destroyed Tunisia with 5-2, after that we saw that Mexico is a really serious team that can easily win against worse opponents like South Korea. The Mexicans won that game with 2-1 and continued with their perfect record. The last game of the day presented a late drama that ended with a full comeback from Germany from 0-1 at halftime against Sweden to 2-1 with a late goal of Toni Kroos in the 95th minute. With this goal, Kroos not only gave the win to Germany and saved the chances of the team for continuation into the next stage but also kept the World Cup title in the hands of the Germans after they won the 2014 World Cup tournament in Brazil.

Without a doubt, the best player of the day is Toni Kroos from Germany. The midfielder of Real Madrid was the best player of the day not only because of his winning goal in the added time of the game but also because of his total performance in the game. Kroos was everywhere on the field for Germany and was starting all of the attacks of the team during the game against Sweden. For this reason, we are naming Toni Kroos as the Player Of The Ninth Day of the 2018 FIFA World Cup according to ‘’Roll The Ball’’.
