The eight-day of the 2018 FIFA World Cup offered some late dramas and a good amount of goals. Firstly Brazil won the three points against Costa Rica with two goals in the added time, but in general, the Brazilians disappointed their fans. After that Nigeria sent a statement that the team wants to qualify for the next stage with a great 2-0 win against Iceland that was counted as the favorite before the start of the game. The last game of the day was between two of the strongest European squads Serbia and Switzerland. Serbia took the lead, but after two goals in the second half (one in the last minutes), Switzerland stole the three points and sent the Serbian dreams for something memorable into doubt. Many players deserve the award for the player of the day, but the performance of one of them amused lots of people.
The player that we are talking about is called Ahmed Musa. Musa who is currently owned by Leicester City by was loaned out in CSKA Moscow during the last season played a perfect game against Iceland. During the whole match, Musa was a danger for the Europeans and he was able to inspire the Super Eagles to win the much needed three points. With pleasure, we are announcing that Ahmed Musa is the Player Of The Eight Day of the 2018 FIFA World Cup according to ‘’Roll The Ball’’.
