Ramy Abbas Issa, Salah’s agent, has confirmed the Liverpool ace is ready to face hosts Russia on Tuesday.

Salah has been out of action since Liverpool’s Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid on May 26, when he awkwardly landed on his shoulder following a Sergio Ramos challenge and dislocated it.

There were much speculation regarding the 26 year old’s availability in the World Cup but as reports suggest, Egypt’s World Cup opener against Uruguay is going to be the only World Cup match he would be missing for his nation.

Egypt must avoid defeat against Russia to keep their round of 16 qualification hopes alive as they lost 1-0 to Uruguay in their first game of the tournament.

Salah, who scored 44 goals in all competitions for Liverpool last season, would be a great boost to the Egyptian attack, which blatantly lacked cutting edge against Uruguay.
